The best way to describe a day at Air's Thai Culinary Kitchen is to say that I, who have no cooking ability, learned to prepare five Thai dishes and enjoyed every minute of the experience. Khun 'Air' is a man who loves all things about his country and takes great pleasure in sharing his knowledge with visitors. I have had the good fortune of having him act as my agent for 13 years when arranging a week long stay in Chiang Mai for my American students from Loyola College in Maryland. We were the first group to attend his cooking school and were delighted not only with the facilities, but even more with the chef and translator. The students have insisted that I make a day at Air's Thai Culinary Kitchen an intrinsic part of our Study Abroad Program.
